PB&J Roll Up

There is nothing that takes me back to childhood more quickly than the taste of peanut butter and jelly. Now, as an adult and mother, I am constantly looking for a twist on my childhood favorites to serve my two daughters. I want something quick, easy, healthy and tasty. For something unique, I swap the bread in the old classic and turn my PB&J into a rollup! My kids think it’s fun and it’s a great way to break the old routine. To make it, you will need:

Peanut Butter (we prefer Central Market Smooth Peanut Butter because it has no added sugar or oils)

Jelly (we prefer Bonne Maman Strawberry or Raspberry because it has no corn syrup)

2 Ohla! Almond Flour Tortillas

*Pro Tip: Try to look for peanut butter and jellies that have no added sugar or corn syrup, such as the ones listed here. Don’t forget to check your labels for hidden ingredients!

  • Heat a nonstick skillet
  • Once the skillet is hot, warm each side of the tortilla for a few seconds (this makes it easier to roll up)
  • Remove the tortilla from the skillet and let cool slightly
  • Once cool, spread the peanut butter across the whole tortilla
  • Spread the jelly over the peanut butter and combine together
  • Roll the tortilla and serve
